Potential Applications of Modified Activated Carbon for the Treatment of Water and Wastewater - A Review

Abstract:

A review of literature was done to understand the, latest scenario of the water pollution through heavy metals especially "Arsenic". The removal of these heavy metals by "Activated Carbon" in different forms was also reviewed to fine the gaps in the literature, so that further work can be planned to design the reactor for the treatment of water and wastewater.
